Good Day, Friends; In Paul's writings to Timothy, he shows Timothy that teaching scripture properly and accurately is essential. Please read with me from the NLT version bible: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 "16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work."
When we read the Bible, it is essential that we know and properly understand the original meaning so we can share God's Word with others accurately. Some bible versions have been changed by man and contain deception born out of bias and agenda. Our Chapel recommends the King James Version Bible (KJV) as a study Bible as well as the New Living Translation (NLT) for daily reading. The NLT version is written in modern English and has the same content as the KJV.
