Good Day, Friends; While we are at work or in public, we may observe a social trend that has developed over the past 100 years or so, for some persons to move away from God and to leave His guidance far behind. In around 590 BC, the Prophet Jeremiah tried to reason with the people of his day, who followed their own ways instead of God's way, just as many people are doing now. In the Book of Jeremiah 17:5-7 (NLT) we see his words as spoken through him from God:
"5 This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. 6 They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. 7 But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence."
Those of us who know God should try to reach out to those who are 'lost in the wilderness' and to help them understand things that will show them The Light of Salvation - God's Word and God's Love.
