Good Day, Friends; While the earthly demands on our time each day may not allow us to read or study God's Word as much as we would like to, we should try to set aside Bible study time each week. God gave us His Message, as contained in The Bible, and He wants us to know and understand that message, which He sent to us by way of His chosen Prophets and scribes. The sixteenth President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, while speaking with a group of persons from Baltimore on September 7, 1864, who had just presented him with a bible, remarked, "In regard to this Great Book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it."
