Good Day Friends: Have you ever thought about the power of prayer and how God listens to His children? When we have burdens in our lives, we ask God for help in dealing with those burdens. However, we must remember that God's actions are on His time schedule, not ours. He knows what is best for us and helps us along at the appropriate times. We can read Paul's teaching on this in 1 Corinthians 10:13 which may be best stated in modern English from the New Living Translation Bible: "13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."
In this verse, the word 'temptations' comes from the Greek root word for burdens or trials. God will never abandon us and will always show us the way out of our burdens if it is too much for us to handle on our own. God knows our heart and He knows how much that we can endure. When we pray to our Heavenly Father, he hears our prayer and if it is His will, he will show us the way if we can not get through the burden on our own.
