Lift Up In Prayer

Lift Up In Prayer

Blessings to you all,

As we get closer and closer to the Holiday season, there are so many who are depressed. For whatever the reason is whether it is severed relationships, loved ones no longer with us, children out of town, or away in the War efforts, people feel alone and abandoned, distant and afraid.

However, that is not the way God wants us to feel at any time of year. God said that He will "Comfort" His children.

Matt. 5:4
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

1 Cor. 1:3-4
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

Let us pray for those who are suffering right now and need the comfort of God in their lives.

Dear heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, help us to rise above the things that concern us. We surrender the burden of them to You and thank You that as we do, You will make the burden light and get us through each difficult situation succcessfully. We lift our eyes from the problems we face and focus on You and Your love instead. Thank You that although human love fails, Your love never will. Help us to rest in Your love as we watch You bring good out of the tough times we face in our lives.

We thank You that you go before us whenever we go through difficult situations. Thank You that You are always with us and You will not leave us or forsake us, thank You Jesus; we don't need to be afraid of tough times. Give us courage and faith to meet even the most difficult situations we face. In Jesus name we pray....AMEN

The Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave your nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
(Deut. 31:8)

God bless you all,
