Hey everyone! I recently started writing my first song lyrics as a Christian writer! It is mainly a song of praise for God still accepting me even after I strayed and used up my talents for things that were not of God.. Well, I'm pretty sure you know how the parable goes! ヽ｀ヽ(*￣o￣*)♩♫♪ here's the lyrics!

Like a Prodigal

Verse 1:

Before I begin I want to say,
Thank you for throwing my old life away.
Because you are the father,
And I wonder why you would bother.
Cos I was only a prodigal.
Nothing but a prodigal.

Chorus:

Like a prodigal I ran from you,
But no one could love me like you do.
I've tried so many times to live life right,
But every time I always lost the fight.

But I never thought you'd still care.

Thanks^^ I'm glad you were able to enjoy it!

I normally do fast/fun songs at a tempo at about 128-130bpm. And I know how to play piano,bass, guitar, drums and a few other minor instruments, and I am currently taking lessons for cello. But most of my songs are usually done with electronic instruments.

My grandson is a percussionist; but also plays trumpet and piano. He is a music major now in college. Also a Christian.

Right, he does but when he started his first year of high school he didn't either. He has learned most since then and since he took drum lessons back in his first year of high school. Be encouraged because you have so much ahead and so much to look forward to. Bless you.
