Living - Dying

We do not live or die for ourselves.
If we live, we are living for the Lord, and if we die,
we are dying for the Lord.
So living or dying, we belong to the Lord.
Romans 14:7-8

If you want to understand life, and the Bible,
then you need to understand God's plan and purpose.

Bob did you take a picture of this out by the riverside?

This scripture is useful, it talks about how we live for the Lord and die to ourselves.

Ourselves is of the flesh, and the Lord is that of the spirit. To die to our flesh is to live by the spirit, which is a choice made daily. To let the Lord live through us or the let the flesh of ourselves win over.

(My take on it; though could be wrong. What is your take on these scriptures? (I haven't read Romans 14 in awhile.)

Know that am not perfect in the manner of living by the spirit perfectly though do know from experience that; if we choose the Lord - the less hate we will have, and when problems arise we know the Lord is there with us to give us strength to be able bear what ever troubles maybe -

if you make the choice to have faith, and trust God over our own ways, and let his ways become apparent so that we may learn our lessons through experiences, and increase in our endurance, and character in hope, and in faith and love of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and towards others.

May grace, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you and all here on this forum site.

That is really interesting, and thank you for sharing the photo. If you took that yourself it is a very profound scene that is for sure. Appreciate your kindness and your comment back to me.

Bob, keep sharing scriptures with us, and thank you again.

Take care sir.

I believe each of us is called to some kind of ministry which honors our Savior and Lord.
For about six years this "Daily verse/Quote" has been mine, And I thank God that I can
make a contribution (no matter how small) to other believers/unbelievers life.

Thank you for saying that.

Sometimes you might feel useless like you were not able to accomplish anything or maybe God is not there with you.

You are someone who just now confirmed this that it is true, God will use us for his purpose, and we might not even notice those moment, yet if you keep thanking God every day, and keep praying and asking God to be with you and to be with all the people around you everything becomes easier.

The more trust you place in God, and the Lord Jesus Christ the more easier by the spirit life becomes.

Everyone here on this forum has some type of purpose of this site and most certainly being used for God in their life if they are placing their trust on Him every day, and that is my hope.

For all of us to learn, grow, and look towards God and the Lord Jesus Christ every morning, and every night so all can have peace in their hearts, and we can be filled with the Love God shed in our hearts by the spirit.

God's response to our obedience: "
" ’Good work,’ his master said. ’You are a good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over this small amount, so now I will give you much more.’
Matthew 25:23 (TLB)

I firmly believe that Ester 4:14 says it all "...for such a time as this." God's timing is always perfect.
And I am humbled to believe that the Creator of the universe can use "little 'ol me" for His purpose.
So, until He says "no more", I will continue to serve Him as He has equipped me to do.
