He makes a good point, and he touches on a key failing of modern society--redefinition of concepts based on individual subjective criteria. Everyone considers their own personal moral beliefs to be the definition of right or wrong.
By the removal of empirical, objective definitions of key words, that's one of the main methods behind the lawlessness of various elements within the governments. It also undermines the arena of objective morality.

Yes, they’re undermining the very foundation of a civilized society in favor of an increasing nihilistic anarchy.
Jesus has (is) the answer to all such deceptions/lies (e.g. #love is love), ones that are made by the prince of this world to keep his own enslaved (to sin).
This is one of the greatest blessings of becoming a believer, yes
