I never took drugs
Imbibed, in the fruit of the vine,
‘Night life’ left me cold…
Never walked through the valley of the shadow of death
Never span out of control!
Kept all my relationships in line
Never read things
‘From the top shelf’
Never had sticky fingers*
Never kicked the dog!
Never shot the wings off flys,
Gave generously when asked,
Every thing said and done,
was ‘nice’

What do I do,
to inherit eternal life?
