Hello Bob;

My wife is my partner and spiritual support for life. This was preached to us on our wedding day almost 36 years ago, however, it didn't sink in for many years. God is so good for He is the one, using mentors, Christian counseling and fellow believers, that we have become partners...

When she wants to put up blue curtains in the living room, or decides on what we will do regarding our hospital insurance, for example, I will trust and submit to her and work with her.

When I need to guide her in our Spiritual walk with Jesus, she will trust and submit to my decision and walk with me with our Lord.

It took years to realize this but the decisions she and I make are our decisions for Christ's glory.

We are still a work in progress but the reminder in Colossians 3:18-19 helps us to have the love and peace in our continued marriage.
