Meditate on These Things

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Finally, brethren , whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things.

There is much darkness happening in the world. Wars, hunger, disasters, tragic accidents, hatred, murders, and the list goes on and on. It becomes overwhelming if we let our hearts dwell on these things. We have to be aware of these things, but let us lift our hearts in prayer. Leet us praise and thank God for His unfailing love and He will lighten our burdens.

Philippians s 4:7 (NKJV)
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Thank you for being a light in this darkness :)

Good morning, thenami and Cosia;

You both are a light to your brothers and sisters here. Thank you for standing firm which ministers to me reference Philippians 4:8.

I shared in another thread, what do we do about the darkness in the world? Continue to be that light on the hill!

Matthew 5:14-16, 14 “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. - HCSB

If my brother, sister or non-believer doesn't like my disposition. God is my audience, I shall not be moved. Each day be watchful and ready, love one another, pray incessantly, study the Bible, live Holy Godly lives, share the Gospel, remain faithful in your work, don't be troubled and my personal anthem practiced daily (from my previous post,)
remain hopeful in the Lord.

Psalm 62:5-6, 5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - KJV

God bless everyone.

Bob
