For this is the will of God, even your sanctification (holiness), that we abstain from fornication (the worship of this world and the things in it): That every one of you know how to possess his vessel in sanctification (holiness) and honour; Not in the lust (suffering passion) of concupiscence (longing for things that are not ours or that we are not to have), even as the Gentiles (those of this world and the things of it) which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud ( to have more, or a greater part or share. to be superior, excel, surpass, have an advantage over) his brother in the matter (of lusting, suffering passionately longing for things that are not ours or that we are not to have),: because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth (takes advantage, or places themselves above another to have what they are due or have), despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

The will of God comes from the Holy Spirit and only the Holy Spirit can help us follow Jesus teaching, it shows that the spirit is not just a force but a personal entity. If there is no Holy Spirit there is no true obedience and following.

This is a message that the world needs right now. As a recovering addict of pornography I can attest that the greatest defeater of a Christian's testimony and destruction of our lives and souls is sexual sin. It is a fierce and relentless enemy. Only by attending Every Man's Battle was I finally able to be freed from its power. I attended other counseling as well, one of which is probably known by many in this group and I will be glad to share that in private if need be.
