The beauty of this form is that we really don't know each other on a personal level. Therefore,, there should be nothing that we have to overcome in our 'third' person relationship, except that whuch we create for ourselves.
If we differ in opinion the mature thing would be to take an overview from our elevated position and pray for that person.
As a parent we are not threatened by our child's immature behavior or opinions. Being a parent I have learnt from my children - indirectly and directly, now that they are grown. The only thing that would stop me is my own personal ego - or if I feel threatened.

Truth is not always evident or we wouldn't be 'the greatest battle ever fought' (in the mind).
The Principalities and Power that we battle are greater than we are or we wouldn't require grace and mercy to be victors.
So why do we act like we are self made?

Hello 2404;

In the time I have gotten to know you on this forum I may never know you on a personal level but I thank God this is where He has placed you and me to fellowship. I'll take whatever the Lord gives and for that I'm grateful, brother.

When we differ in opinion, our belief or interpretation of the Bible, I feel we remain in accord, take a step back, pray for the exchange and ask God to reveal it in His time, today, tomorrow or someday when I'm long gone from Christian Forum Site or on this earth.

I have to confess, I feel it's lousy when I post or speak my view and then contradict my Christian behavior with an exposed ego. This breaks down when someone doesn't agree with me and I constantly push back. It could be I'm attempting to take the place of God by forcing the other to see my way.

9 times out of 10 when we can take a step back in written form or face to face, pray and seek calm, we begin to see that the principalities and power are not coming from Him, therefore we are not blessed.

Alas, why do we act like we are self made? My response is, this is our human nature, and where God intervenes He continues His good work in us and will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

But if only we are willing to pray, listen and allow Him to grow us daily in our walk with Christ.

You are one of the reasons I find it a joy to fellowship here at Christian Forum Site.
