Love is a Verb

I am in my late 30's....almost 40 years old.

I was born and raised in the United States.

My parents are from South Korea.

They have been living in the United States for almost 42 years.

I have 2 younger siblings. My sister is a medical doctor, and my brother is a lawyer who worked for a personal injury law firm.

My brother's birthday was last week. He is now 32 years old.

My birthday is this week.

I volunteer at my local public library every Tuesday.

I also participate in church Bible studies 3 times per week.

I am part of a church group that serves at an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

We serve at the Mexico orphanage on the last Saturday of every month.

My personal mission statement is - Actively show the incredible love of Jesus Christ to everyone around me in very tangible ways

Hello Love is a Verb;

Praise God for your birthday this Thursday and will keep you in prayer and celebration!

My sister in law is from Korea and married to my younger brother. He retired from the Air Force while stationed in South Korea and finished his masters in computer science. They both decided to reside in South Korea and are very happy. I have witnessed to my brother for Christ and though he has told me he believes in a "higher power" does not recognize the True God nor His Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I'm always praying for his and her salvation.

Last summer 2016 I went home to San Diego to visit my Dad and my brother was visiting from Korea. We had a conversation and he started asking me questions about the Bible. I was encouraged.

Please keep my brother and sister in law in your prayers.

When I was in high school in San Diego I also used to go with the church to Tijuana and Tacate to distribute clothes and toys to orphanages. It was also a blessing when they came up to visit because they also ministered to us.

Thank you for sharing your testimony, Love is a Verb. I can see you are very happy and proud of your parents, siblings and their accomplishments, and culture!

Sir, I will definitely keep your brother and your sister-in-law in my prayers. I will definitely pray that they will trust in Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord. I will also pray that once they become Jesus followers, that they will develop and maintain a close relationship with Jesus.
