My own theories about the universe

Yes, everyone says that the universe will end someday and just be cold and dark, but I mean, energy itself which everything consists of, came from absolutely nothing, so why cant it do it again? I think that, perhaps when and if everything collapses, itll just form a deep, deep black hole and when it gets heavy enough, itll break down and collapse and form brand, new energy again, and another theory of mine, is that since were moving fast through the empty space of the universe, that when our own sun runs out of fuel, itll sooner or later run into a new sun again and start to orbit it, so perhaps our planet wont end after all, the empty space of the universe is after all, infinite, so why wouldnt it run into a new one? Whats your take on it, guys, will the universe itself make life live forever or is it up to jesus to give us eternal life, somehow, what does the bible say about it?

When it comes to the future demise of this world, God has revealed what will happen…

2 Peter 3:7,10 KJV
[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

I must admit that bible-quotes are very romantic, indeed, thanks for sharing it

What do you mean with heavens shall pass away?

Hi Skreia. Nice to meet you. 😊

I’m pretty rubbish at writing poetry, but sometimes I do like to read it. And some imagery in the bible does seem romantic. To me it’s like they are Nostalgic, in the sense of longing for what they are asking of me.
Spending eternity with The Lord is written in our hearts so we are naturally attracted.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV)
11.He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

So next time you feel a romantic connection to a bible passage it is God that is attracting you to Him…

At least that’s what I believe.

Blessings🙏

Im a little drawn to mysteries myself

First off, the universe is not infinite.
It is a creation so it has boundaries.

A new heaven and earth does not mean annihilation but total renovation for it will have utility in the life here after.

Hello Skreia;

Like you said, "it is your own theory"
and "another theory of mine."

You also said,

"why wouldn't it run into a new one?"

"What's your take on it, guys"

"is it up to Jesus to give us eternal life?"

"what does the Bible say about it?"

Your theories lead to good questions, asking what others say, and where is Jesus in all this, are good starts.

In my personal life I once asked, "if we sin and go to hell, after awhile would we get used to it?"

In time these questions and discussion can open opportunities to learn more about Christ.

God bless you, brother and your family.

So, kind of like a recycled universe? Or one that endlessly reproduces...or...a resurrected one?

Maybe the one we are living in at this moment is a 'dummy run'.

What do you mean with heavens shall pass away?
Skreia, this is not the literal heavens and earth! It's figurative. The foundations of the earth were not destroyed in the flood. The new heaven and earth came prophetically in Revelation 21 & 22, and we find no TEMPLE in it. The New Covenant in Christ is what Peter is describing in 2Pet.3 above.
The old covenant's heaven and earth burned up and we received a new heaven and earth.

Hear the Heavenly Voice- Hebrews NKJV

25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I [a]shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we [b]may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. (emphasis mine)

So, kind of like a recycled universe? Or one that endlessly reproduces...or...a resurrected one?

Maybe the one we are living in at this moment is a 'dummy run'.
I like the term 'dummy run' makes me chuckle. But the implications of that term are exciting. If this is the dummy run what does reality look like?
But it also begs the question, what is the value in a dummy run for we know an omniscient God has a purpose in everything, or He wouldn't be omniscient.
God bless you Lanolin
