Tropical Storm Edouard formed out of Tropical Depression # 6 earlier today in the central Atlantic. The storm will make hurricane status early this coming week, however, due to the upper level southwest to northeast steering currents that will be in place by then, this storm will remain out to sea, will pass well east of Bermuda and will not be affecting any coastal United States areas. For that reason, this will be our only mention of Named Storm Edouard.
