O empty cup, which way will you turn?

Filled by the world, it's dainties and allurements?

Filled by the flesh, fading strength, failing self will?

Filled by the academies with it's ivory and towers?

Or filled by God in His grace meeting all your needs?

Filling you with peace, granting life, and everlasting communion with Him.

Thankfully God can and does cleanse and remove the filth over time so that we can be filled with his Spirit.
