Hello you and welcome.
You may have experienced the life changing influence that God provided you with when you first heard the Gospel as you went and searched more into who Jesus Christ was, and learning more about His Father.
You probably noticed how transformational life became with the holy spirit that had been given to you after being born again after placing your faith on the Lord Jesus Christ who came down from heaven, and lived a life on this earth.
Who was the expressed image of God in every way, causing many miracles for people who were blind, lame, deaf to be healed. He brought a message of love, and he died for all people and their sin, because of that love of forgiveness, and mercy. We also die with Christ Jesus, and just like God has raised his Son from the dead. We too are raised up by into a new spiritual life by walking with God and the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives daily.
God gives us the holy spirit to live by, and we live by the love that was expressed by the Lord Jesus Christ in this life daily. Our old lives have passed away, and now we live in new spiritual life with Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We still have trouble with our flesh vs the spirit though cause we will never be perfect in the sense that Jesus Christ was. But when we sin we have an advocate who pleads our case with the Father our Mediator Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 Corinthians 5:
14 Either way, Christ’s love urges us onward. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.
16 So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!
17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
