Hello brothers and sisters;

On the last day of December 31, 2025, my wife forgot to put her coffee cup under the keurig dispensing spout. There was coffee all over.

She has done this twice. She apologized as my sister in law and I cleaned it up. I gave her a hug and said no problem with the keurig.

Colossians 3:12-13, 12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. - NLT

Then after breakfast she was backing her car out from the driveway and drove over the concrete divider of our next door neighbor's house. Her car was stopped over the corner of the divider. I asked if she was alright, gave her another hug then straightened out her car.

Ephesians 4:1-6, Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. - NASB

Both times God filled me up by guarding my heart and tongue. I knew how she was feeling. Years ago in both instances I would have snapped at her out of reflex but patience and compassion prevailed. For that I give God all the glory even in small incidences.

God bless everyone and Happy New Year.
