The National Weather Service is issuing Watches and Warnings for many stares in the central USA. Northern states are receiving snow as well as up to 1/2 inches of ice from freezing rain. States south of the freezing rain boundary may receive from 5 to 8 inches of rain, causing lowlands and river flooding.
