Playing with Fire

The secular crowd out there love playing with the (more than a) concept of Hell. It's great fun to laugh at such...because daring to think more seriously about it scares the daylights out of them. So, keeping it "light" helps them to keep it far enough on the back burners of their minds that it no longer nags at them...until there's tragedy or catastrophe.

mm I don't think Christians play with fire. We have holy fire, which is something else.

Sorry I don't watch youtube videos. You'll have to explain that one.

One of the teachers at school had her house burn down. She got a call at lunchtime to say everything had been gutted. Thankfully nobody was at home at the time ...and I have no idea how the house burned down but teachers have been known to set off the fire alarm in the staffroom with the toaster being left on....

You'd be in the middle of a lesson and need to evacuate. I haven't heard of many schools being target of arson attacks lately, but there have been the odd ones. The danger is more in the dry bush areas esp in Australia. Where I live, homes are more likely to be too damp, wet, rotting and leaky than too dry! So any fire wouldn't cause too much damage, the rains would still come.

We have a pizza place named Hells Pizza and they do quite good pizzas. If you read 7 books, you earn a free kids pizza.

Catholic and muslim parents don't agree with the name though, and give it a wide berth. But it's just the name of the chain. Of course you need to fire a pizza and put in an hot flaming oven. It's not frozen microwaved pizza. So I am not sure what their issue is with the name.

They aren't feeding PEOPLE into the ovens. Just pizza.
If I wanted to scare people, I would name the crematorium of a funeral parlour Hell.

My dear........the point was that liberals "MAKE FUN" of a real Hell. They believe that by trivializing it, it makes it more tolerable if it even exists at all.
