Poem#105 Forgiveness To Pride
Philemon 1, Psalm 1
Strong as Our Faith maybe still if we’re not careful of Pride
The good we’re doing in service of Jesus will be undone if
We don’t turn away from pride & forgive Our Fellow Brothers
Don’t be so arrogant in Faith thinking we can hang on to grudges
Without the Devil’s spy’s getting wind & the Devil’s next string puppet
Go to the Father let everything go at His Cross where Satan’s Defeated
Be thankful for those Bold in their Faith that use whichever Faith used
Gives the Strength needed to speak Truth of Christ in correcting Brothers
Instead of letting us continue Walking astray from the Narrow Way
Whispers of Temptation of the Devil can be hard to shake like Birds
Clinging to Branches in our Heads twisting words of the past old wounds
Raise those Branches, Hands high in Praise to shake them out
We’re Only Strong in Faith when walking in the Way of the Gospel
Alongside the Fellow Steps of Our Brothers & Sisters walking as Jesus
Truly, Truly the Footprints we see isn’t Ours, but His In His Resurrection
