Poem#12 God’s Story

Poem#12 God’s Story

Genesis, John, Romans

Let Us Create Mankind male & Female in our Image Said I Am

Before day 6 we were dust that was just Created before nothing

Until God Spoke Everything into existence, Breathed out Life

Sure we could fall for the Lies we’ve been falling for since the Serpent

The Father of lies was called a Snake when he first spoke of evolution

Planting evidence into our Pride that we’d evolve into God

The lie Getting us to believe will gain something we’ve already had

Is old as Genesis that didn’t stop at the doors of Eden, we keep falling

As the Lie gets bigger & Bigger that stopped at the foot of the Cross

Because the Bible is God’s Story bringing us to the Present Genesis

Where the Evidence is clear as the Fingerprints on the Hands of Him

Implanted in our Image of God Himself since Day 6

In the Beginning was the Word the Seed that is God Born as Promised

The Son Who we call Jesus Christ the gift of Christmas to die as a Lamb

Raised 3 days later as He bruised the Snake’s head with His bruised Heal

The white & black letters can’t contain the Depths of God’s Red Letters

As the End of John states all of Jesus accounts couldn’t be held by pages

Yet when we look in the Mirror & Truly Believe the Evidence we see God

God through the Holy Spirit turns the pages in our Hearts back to Genesis

The Beginning to the Present day of our Lives that we’re His Forevermore

We’re being told the Rescue Story Of His Likeness that is Love

Hello Walker;

I enjoyed reading Poem#12 God's Story, reference Genesis, John and Romans.
For years my wife and I read the Bible by ourselves during our devotional time, aside from attending Bible Study or Sunday School. In 2023 I am pleased to share that I started reading the Bible to my wife in the evening and she responded yes when I asked her.

When we opened with Genesis 1:1, 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
- KJV, I shared with her that if we can believe the very first verse we will believe the rest of God's Word. We both agreed.

God bless
you, Kyle and your family.
