Poem#138 Pearls Or Perils
Matthew 7, 2 Timothy 2, James, Luke 6
People are watching as the devil tries to trip us up on words, actions
Even as the words found in the Bible are twisted until matching evidence
Getting us to take them out of context & used for prideful gains
The oldest tricks in the devil’s play book still played & why not
After all man keeps falling for the father of lies the serpent of old
When will we learn to wait upon the Lord before leaping
Judge not or you will be judge, what we measure will be measured back
So we back off from one of the most twisted scriptures to keep from Truth
Fear of offending or being offended, when in Truth we’re all to be Judged
The problem is never from telling the Truth, it’s delivery from the heart
The pointed Finger comes with fingers pointed back to the source of evil
Out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks
We can’t disciple demons nor can we cast out the flesh, hardened hearts
Can’t be softened with a hammer & chisel can’t be casting pearls either
Only through the Potter’s Hands of God can Love change our heart
So how do we know when to cast pearls or know signs of peril dangers
When to stand up for defending God’s Truth or backing down for sanity
This is why we’re to be slow to speak, quick to Listen, to Listen for God
Let the Holy Spirit in the final hour to give the Words as needed in time
Patience we’re always working on as we’re getting plenty of opportunities
Which comes with the equal opportunities to Love & Forgive
We’re all practicing with pearls in hand before swine learning to cast
Or not to cast seeing the warning signs of perils due to Pride buried
Only in Love do we cast Pearls, not out of Pride or splintered eyes
