Poem#140 Of The World, Of The Kingdom

Luke 6



Everywhere Jesus went People followed & Jesus showed compassion

Even though not Two People were alike as they all had different motives

Some were following for the Teachings, others for the Entertainment



Matters of the heart can be tricky, can be lost, & most definitely evil

As Pride wants best for me, myself & I as Pride’s views are of One only

Of the World & not of the Kingdom of God



Oh Faithless Generation even the closest of Discples were bad Listeners

So how much more did people of no ears have to hear in order to Listen?

It’s why we must show the Difference of the World, of the Kingdom of God



Jesus taught many parables because people of the world had no ears

Showing the difference of living of the world doesn’t serve anyone not us

Only through Living of the Kingdom of God through accepting Jesus does



Everywhere Jesus went a crowd followed some times over 5000 people

Some showed up for the food & entertainment, others for the teachings

Question remains why are we following Jesus? For the Relationship?



Some people are following Jesus is of the World & not of the Kingdom

They will be the ones not carrying their crosses daily, making excuses

The Greatest will be the One showing up at the Door as a Servant

Apparently my poems get more likes when posting at night and not during the day like yesterday’s poem taste of ash taste of life

We have noticed that the members checking in at CFS, for personal reasons, are a bit less on weekends. This may be because weekends for many, are spent with family and church and also some persons are catching up on responsibilities around the house such as maintenance, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and just plain relaxing. It has been this way for many years and the only time that it changed was during the virus lock-down times when persons were forced to stay home.

Things are somewhat back to normal and the slightly reduced turnout on weekends is normal.
