Poem#17 Take Heed
2 Peter 1
All that Jesus spoke to us through Matthew, Mark, Luke & John
Take heed the Promise of His Helper the Holy Spirit & Be Listening
Speak to the Spirit to pour out the Fruits into a Drink of Holy Water
Don’t be afraid to let Gideon come out for confirmation from God
So when God’s Word confirms, the Holy Spirit can install confidence
Whether to build an Army of 300 or to simply share the Gospel
Faith will be tested to bring out all we’ve heard from Jesus in Listening
Testing the Truth of our Walk of Him through our Obedience of His Word
On the Solid Rock we stand or sinking in the quicksand of little faith
The Fruit of the Spirit will grow in us by the foundation of His Word
By the Humility in the soil of our heart which holds the Word to grow
The teaching of the parable of the Sower still holds root to all Parables
We’re all still Human while being Divine by the Holy Spirit like Peter
We’re speaking when we’re too be Silent & Listening to God speak
We’re denying Jesus when the rooster crows, yet Jesus waits for us
Jesus calls us to have Breakfast with Him to ask about Our Love
Do we really Love Jesus, then take all we know of Him & Feed Them
As Many times as we deny, Loving Him with all Our Soul the Gospel
