Poem#19 Give Your Eyes
Galatians 4, John 9:39, Matthew 19:24
If we only knew the pains caused by our blindness
By our refusal to look past the Traditions of the Law
Why can’t we take away the eyes of our Pride
It hurts seeing the ones we love walking in darkness
When they could easily be walking in the Light of Christ
If only they give up their eyes of unbelief
Over and Over Paul wrote trying to get the Galatians to see
Not with Traditional views of the law, but of the Grace in Jesus
The Grace that is Jesus that became the law fulfilled for Us
Don’t know if it was because of the richness of their Pride
That would make it easier for A Camel to go through a needle
Then to admit to Jesus of being blind without Him
Give your eyes over to Jesus for Heaven Sakes & Believe
Jesus can do more then what the flesh of our eyes can see
If we could see what Faith sees we would be Still in Aww
We don’t have to cause so much pain to those we Loved
They don’t no longer have to be perplexed by our unbelief
When we say Yes to Jesus in a Child’s Faith to finally See
