Poem#2 Defense
Acts 24
When everyone is coming against us with accusations
Don’t lose hope even as the Devil plants the evidence
We have the Defense Attorney who’s never lost
Even when we’re helpless in waiting, it’s never hopeless
Those that wait upon the Lord will feel peace of His Spirit
When we’re still & on our knees The Holy Spirit is on the move
Let the Prosecutor present their case without interruption
Wait upon the Mighty Wind, the Holy Spirit to fuel our Fire
Surrender our Tongues to Him that prays on our behalf
The enemy may think he’s winning having us locked up
The Victory has already been won by Jesus like with Paul
Who through the Holy Spirit wrote Victory Letters
So never lose Hope in Jesus, let Him be our Joy always
The time to be Delivered will be soon, whether in the flesh
Or Rescued in the Spirit either way we’re with Jesus
Keep looking up at the Promises of Jesus His Rainbow shines
By the Power of His Glory, He’s never left anyone behind or alone
Through the parted sea, through the Fire, He’s beside us
