Poem#2 East Wind
Exodus 14
Theirs something about the East Wind that God uses
That it was the East Wind carrying the Locusts on Egypt
Also was the East Wind that dried a path through the Sea
Don’t know what lies in wait or which armies are behind
Just know the Lord God is sending an East Wind ahead
Peace Be Still enough to Hear that East Wind coming
While Moses was preparing to lift the staff to part the Red Sea
God was sending the East Wind telling us to be Silent & Listen
Hear the East Wind drying what would get us stuck in mudd
It’s easy to see the big show the Enemy is putting on display
Knowing when we’re afraid will miss the little things that matter
Just like Goliath was trying to put the fear into David
Like Moses, Like David the Lord’s with us, showing us the Stones
The Lord’s been preparing the Faith planted in a little seed to grow
The devil misses the little details that the Lord uses in Victory
Certainly didn’t see the chariots getting stuck in the Red Sea
Certainly didn’t see the stone striking Goliath between the eyes
Certainly didn’t see the Blood that Bruised his Head on the Cross
Don’t know what we’re going through or who we’re dealing with
Battle’s not against flesh & blood, but principalities of this world
Do not be afraid God’s Sending an East Wind, Be Still & Listen
God’s sending an East Wind that will dry up the sweat by fear
God’s Glory prevailed over the enemy that misses the little things
Blood drop of Jesus still holds the Power of Victory, it’s Finished
