Poem#39 Christ and Death

Poem#39 Christ and Death

Phillipians 1, 2 Kings 13:14-21, Ezekiel 37

Until we Fully Surrender everything & I mean everything

All the fears, all the secrets we keep deep inside the heart

Letting go all the bitterness, we thought we didn’t have

We won’t know what it truly means to be, like Paul, Like Elijah, Like Christ

We won’t understand how they died to Live the life of Faith called by Him

Despite the Thorns in the flesh, countless storms they pushed on

Nobody knows what they truly have until they fully let go

Everything holding them back from taking a leap of Faith

Like the Dead man that fell against Elisha’s Bones & Lived

What made the dry bones come back to life, what stopped Venom

From the snake going into Paul, it wasn’t a what, it was all by the Power

From the Touch of the Holy Spirit , Spoken Words by the Holy Spirit

Everyone has a prison in there heart keeping them from being Free

Blaming everyone for the Pain their keeping inside caused by themselves

Physical pain of someone else’s sin Long gone, only self pain remains

Letting it all get washed away by the Holy Spirit to be Seperated

From the Flesh to know what it means to Live Through Jesus Christ

Dying to Gain through Leaping into the Holy Spirit of Faith

Holy Spirit speak over my dry bones, have me live how You Want

Even if it means falling over dead against the Bones of Your Word

Nobody in the flesh will understand this Prayer until calling Jesus

But that’s Okay because Holy Spirit you rolled the stone away

That gave me new life through Jesus as He walked out of the Tomb

Now show me what it means to have you Walk through Me

Speaking of Paul…

1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

What we wrote last night was inspired by Tuesday night mens Bible study on Phillipians 1

here is what we wrote when doing study on 1st Corinthians 15

Poem#122 Leaves of Adam, Blood of Jesus

1st Corinthians 15

Not going to apologize for not having enough Faith

For the disbelief being told about the Lord Jesus Christ

My Faith is gone when it comes to any big bang theory

If God didn’t come to be Born as Jesus the Son of God

Then what am I doing dressed as the Redeemed instead

Of being covered in second hand fig leaves from Adam

Like Adam was born on earth from Dust formed into dry bones

Brought to Life by the breathe of the Holy Spirit of Jesus’s Word

Who then died to Cover my earthly body with His Heavenly Body

Without the redemption Blood hide of Jesus to replace our leaves

We’re left out in the cold of Shame, wind already blown our dry leaves

Jesus already had his plan in motion with the first shedding of Blood

Because of Jesus being with me from the beginning my faith hopes

Jesus didn’t leave us at the mercy of the cruel cold dark dying world

Instead He took our shame to the cross & Raised us up with Himself

One day soon in between our days of making Disciples, feeding Sheep

Jesus will Himself in a twinkling of an eye will raise Up new Righteousness

Death its the Beginning for those Calling on His Name to be Saved

Didn’t Have enough Faith being a former Son of Adam to Hope

Not until the former Father’s Sins was removed, forgotten, Forgiven

Only when Clothed in Jesus do We have enough Faith
