Poem#39 Results of Obedience

Our God the Creator of All Life All He ever wanted was us to Trust
Jesus wants us to Live by His Spoken Word Trusting Him with Obedience
If we’re wanting to Live, Simply Obey the Words of God
The People coming out of Egypt if only they would have listened
Even after God Rescued Them through Moses after the 10 plagues
Seeing Egyptian Army drown in inches of water should have Believed
Obedience to God’s Word is what Brings us Life more abundantly
Disobedience put Jonah in a big fish for 3 days, puts us in conflict
Need to be Trusting, Believing in the One that takes us to Victory
History of the Bible is Truth & the Lessons Learned will add Joy
The People were missable company & were constantly in despair
Because they were always complaining & being disobedient to God
Don’t be like the People, be thankful to follow the Cloud by day
Be thankful to have the Fire of the Holy Spirit by Night in Praise
It’s the Joy from the Lord that gifts us Mercy & Grace day & Night
Obedience to God’s Spoken Word would have kept us in the Garden
Obedience to God’s Spoken Word would have gotten us in the Promise
Thankfully God’s Word was Faithful to the way of the Cross the Gospel
The Word of the Lord had Mercy on us even as we disobeyed
Jesus knew we’d never be perfect only as God’s Son would do
He wants us to Trust Him in Belief of His Word with Obedience
Trust God’s spoken Word even in the face of Death, Believe
Jesus is the Resurrection & the Life As He Defeated Death
Trust the Holy Spirit with the consequences of Obeying Jesus
