Poem#44 Trust Was Easy
Genesis 3, 1st & 2nd Kings, John 1, Romans 10, Hebrews 10
If learning to Trust in Jesus was easy He wouldn’t had to die
If learning to say no to pride wasn’t so hard we’d still be in Eden
But yet here we are after a simple choice of the tree God said No
Learning to Trust God in helping to accomplish the simple tasks
By accepting the Truth that Jesus made us so knows everything
We shouldn’t be ashamed of asking Jesus for help in our weakness
If Trusting Jesus at His Word was easy it wouldn’t take the impossible
Because when the possible is done before our eyes doesn’t mean belief
As Faith comes by Hearing & walking comes before seeing the Possible
Throughout the Bible we read God of making the impossible possible
Using the Hands & Mouth of both Elijah & Elisha making flour & oil last
Showing all who read that learning to Trust God’s word can be done
When God says He’s going to do something He’s going to finish it
Trusting God at His word won’t be easy when we remain faithless
Until we start hearing God at His Word & acting on Obedience
Don’t wait to start trusting God tomorrow Trust Him at Jesus now
The Word being with God as God in the Beginning that walked Earth
That became the Lamb so we could be the Redeemed a New Creation
Learn to Trust God at His Word by One step of obedience at a time
Through the little Circumstance to the impossible ones like in the Bible
Through Obedience they saw what a Relationship with God can do
