Poem#55 Silent Partner (Prayer)

Ephesians 1:15-23



Father God, Lord Jesus as I come before you in giving thanks

While in the same breath ask your forgiveness for squandering

The opportunities given to be your partner & being silent



Since Genesis 2 God has been Partnering up with Mankind in Adam

The Word of God continues seeking Partners to carry out the Spoken

From the writing on the pages to the writing in our hearts



Father God as I continue asking for resolution to my prayer needs

I constantly need reminders to move my feet, my hands in agreement

Father what is your will for me to serve in Partnering with you Today



Help me Father in becoming the Partner your wanting me to be

Shape me, mold me as the Clay I am to make a bowl, a pitcher

Whatever it is you seek of me Today I know it’s for your Glory



Holy Spirit I know your in me & I pray Jesus for the Baptism of Fire

Renew your Spirit wind to blow through in guiding of your Wisdom

Help me Believe in the Power that Raised you now Lives in me



Lord Jesus I don’t know how to get a Mountain to move with Faith

Show me what it means to have Faith without doubt tripping me up

Is it really simple as pointing & saying out loud Your Word to Move



No longer want to read God in Silence can’t live by bread alone

If God can use People that drink like Dogs then He can use Me

Through the Words God Speaks I will Live out the Amen, So Be It



Father God in the Name of Jesus I pray in the Stillness of God

Knowing you are One in the same with the Power in your Name

The same Name that is my Shepherd who Guides me Amen

God's great timing. While reading Poem#55 Silent Partner (Prayer) I had just spoken with my brother earlier and we were talking about the busyness leading into Thanksgiving and Christmas.

But we were reminded how important it is to stop, and "pray in the Stillness of God."

I've known you since 2007. How long have you been writing in your Poetry ministry?

Hi Bob, happy Thanksgiving which happens to fall on my birthday this year.
I started writing in 2003, first book in 2006, second in 2007, every poem has the Gospel in some form. Now writing about the bears I watched over the summer and early fall & still sharing the gospel using God’s attributes like Grace, Mercy and Spirit for those Looking to find God where the rest won’t be offended.
Also writting for a future book of scripture based poetry, when not sure as sales have been lacking again. So been searching for directions partly the inspiration for “ Silent Partner” & from Willy George’s sermon “Your Part God’s Part”
 
Truly enjoy each Poem that you share here. You have a gift from God and I'm sure that He is reading your works as well.
