Poem#60 Silent Gospel

1st Thessalonians 1, 2

How can someone like me be bold in carrying the Gospel?

Like those before me that seemed to be fearless in a Generation

That was in the middle of the Darkness of Sin a right to Fear

The Difference between people like us & the Pharisees of the Day

The Power of the Silent Gospel they couldn’t see because of loudness

Pharisees are too focused on looking the part instead of obeying Him

While we’re still sleeping let us be reminded of the Silent Gospel

Who was Born with only the Shining Star leaving a Sign only a few

Thanks to the Angels that Guided them to the King Born to be a Lamb

Those that like to share the jingle of coins in their pockets miss

Importance as the Widow puts in the last two pennies in the offering

Like the Powerful Silent Gospel of Her Prayers before going to Bed

Humbled Prayers go Farther then the Pharisees loud boastful tongues

Like those choosing to pray in their War Rooms with Angels on High Alert

Our Father ready to Send down the Line of Faith Stillness

As the Silent Gospel Awakens to calming the Storms, to dying on a Cross

As the Silent Gospel Spoke Forgivness of a World that didn’t understand

As the Silent Gospel Finished doing the Impossible Rescue of Redemption

How can someone like us be bold in carrying the Gospel like before?

By Answering the Silent Gospel’s Call to taking up our Own Cross to die

Like those Before gone in the Hall Of Faith Risen with the Silent Gospel

Let the Silence of the Obedience of Our Walk in Faith of Jesus

Be the Gospel people see even if they Never hear us coming as

We’re Listening, Feeling the Power of the Silent Gospel at Work

Like the GrandFather, like the GrandMother gone before us in Heaven

Their Prayers in the Silence of the Gospel still Rain down watching over

Their Children, like Our Father In Heaven wants us to Be Still in Him
