Poem#64 Lost Means Found

Poem#64 Lost Means Found

Matthew 10:39, Luke 9:24, John 9

The only difference between Pharisees & the Blind beggars

Only the beggars admitted they couldn’t see without Jesus

When pride convinces we don’t need Jesus we become blind

Nothing is what we’re owed we’ve been doing nothing ourselves

We’re just not understanding what Christ has done in the impossible

Because we can’t see we’re the spotted & Jesus is the perfect Lamb

The only difference between Pharisees & the Sinners Jesus sits with

Only the Sinners admitted they were sick & needed Jesus as their friend

Won’t know how lost, how broken we are until fallen to our knees

Nobody has a life to be found until they’ve fallen to their knees

The knees of confession at the feet of Jesus on the Cross, even

When we can’t see to find in the dark, Jesus comes off to find us

The Blind , the Lost didn’t find Jesus, it was Jesus finding them

Jesus was waiting for them to confess Son of David, Son of God

We’ve lost Our Life, so Jesus could say you’ve found it

Saying we have no sin we become blind, finding a life we lose it

Through believing in our Heart & confessing words past our lips

Jesus the Grace which we’re lifted up from death to Risen life

Oh Walker.... The gift you possess is mind-blowing to me. You have the ability to plunge deep within the soul.
Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with the forums.
Most tenderly, In Awe
Thanks I give God the Glory and thank him for getting me through the last week, which was stressful as my 14 year old half German shepherd half red haired hound was struggling to walk at night just to get outside to use the bathroom, went through this 2 straight nights giving him a veterinary prescribed pain pill after getting him down to his preferred spot down stairs , during the day was fine as he normally sleeps a lot. The next few nights gave him the pain pill before bed still slept ( he slept) while I mostly watched over him because the struggles happened at the same time oddly enough, well next night was during the storm of freezing rain, Bosley slipped on the patio going outside, so another night of downstairs and yes was hard seeing Bosley slip and fall even though got up right away. Turns out Bosley has been dealing with inflammation on his spine, pain pills are helping, other then being afraid of stepping on to the patio at night he’s fine. I’ve been trying to prepare for when it’s time, but definitely stressed on the inside.

Writing this poem definitely helped after listening to Scott Stapp’s new album on YouTube and getting the vision for the poem. I used Rachael Lampa’s new song “ For what its worth” as the melody to write it.

Hey Walker;

That's tough, brother. I can imagine a 14 year relationship with Bosley your beloved dog. You both have come a long way.

I'm praying Bosley will heal with the treatment of his veterinarian.

God bless you always, Kyle.

My heart goes out to both you and your puppy. To say the experience of becoming ready to lose your best buddy is hard is a gross understatement. I've had that experience twice: one dog with a stroke and another with cancer. I'll be praying for you both.

Good morning Walker... I was saddened to hear of the news of your beloved fur baby.... and believe me... I understand that our pets and especially dogs seem to so often be our best friend. My heart was paining as I read about Bosley's decline in health.... My daughter rescues senior dogs from abusive situations.. and so although she does not have the experience of having to say good-bye to a LONG-term pet... she has gone through this brutal "saying good-bye" reality that happens when our pets are getting ready to cross over the rainbow bridge.
She just lost my most FAVORITE one before Christmas... He was a golden retriever... and I named him Mr. One Tooth because he had the sweetest little tooth sticking up from his bottom jaw.

Walker... I don't think we are EVER ready to say good-bye. WE can prepare ourselves to let go... but the excruciating pain that fills our heart when the time comes ... is BRUTAL.... However.... this means.... WE HAVE LOVED well.... and FULLY.

Please know that I have you and Bosley in my prayers.

Once again, I thank you for blessing the forums with your precious gift of poetry.

I had no idea who Scott Stapps was... HA... my bad... I have heard of the group Creed but my little brain did not remember . It was a bit early in the day.... for his STYLE... however... I did listen to When Love is NOT Enough and THERE I got to hear the incredible DEPTH to his voice. It pierces the soul.
He reminds me of Matt Powell from my own favourite group... Third Day.

Anyways.... I just wanted to kiss your heart with LOVE... and to let you know that I am praying for you.

~Much Love from Canada..... In Awe

Thanks Bob, I’ve had Bosley for 10 years got him when he was 4 years old full of energy, loved watching him run has the hunter instincts, great dog, though stressful when company comes over because unfortunately lived in the city before I got him and was picked on. But we live in the country so we both take care of each other.
