Poem#68 Dragon Slayer
Revelation 12, Genesis 3:14-15
The devil wanted his throne on high higher then God’s
Who threw the devil like lightning down from heaven
Taking a third of the Angels the fallen star, the Serpant
Unfortunately the spiritual warfare mankind is blindly unaware
Because the serpant of old twists the word of God to play with us
Like the Predator that plays with his prey the cruelty of Sin
Not one sin is harmless as the devil gets us to think until we commit
Then the devil becomes our accuser & never the friend he claims to be
Trying to get us to bite the same dust that he’s destined to bite in the end
The Dragon that is satan wants us to feel helpless most of all hopeless
Those with Ears to Hear remember of the Dragon Slayer Offspring, Jesus
Who came to bruise the Head of the Serpent with His Heel
Saved by the Blood of Jesus Those that Believe He’s the Son Of God
The Lord is Our Shepherd who leads us through the valley of the shadows
The Word of our Testimony is covered by the Blood of Jesus
When we know Who Holds the Truth the Double Edged Sword
The King of Kings, Lord of Lords the Rider on the White Horse
He Defends us His Children, the Ending of the Book is His Victory
