Poem#8 Turning Back
Isaiah 38
The longer we live the more mistakes we’re going to make
That doesn’t mean having to live with our chin hanging down
Like Rulers before our time like Hezekiah that made mistakes
How many times have those in the Old Testament given lessons
The more we read God’s Word the more we should be drawn near
Even when living in another century God’s Goodness still Reigns
Whether we’re the 1 lost sheep or one of the 99 remaining back
The Prodigals will be celebrated with the Father’s Arms welcome
When we recognize the error of our ways at the feet of Jesus
Theirs nothing we can’t comeback from when we fully Surrender
Placing our Full Trust in Jesus with Faith in a Total Obedience yes
If God the Father can turn back time for Hezekiah can still today
Breaking the hold satan has won’t be easy until we stand up to him
By standing up to the lie and running to the Truth that’s Jesus’s feet
Not even legion of demons can keep us from praising reaching Jesus
If we want the Son to turn back the clock for us grow the little faith
Believe Jesus when He said Faith can move the Mountain and do it
Even when you don’t know how, Trust the One that can and Will
Don’t hesitate like Hezekiah, don’t have to wait until sick and dying
Make the most of falling to our Knees, it’s not weakness it’s strength
Surrendering isn’t losing it’s winning when God turns back our Clock
When we start living right in the Righteous given by the Cross of Jesus
We’re no longer living in the old rags of the old Soul, We’re new creation
When we’re stepping out of the Grave with Jesus we’re Turning Back
