Poem#80 God’s Hand

Poem#80 God’s Hand

Exodus 7

Being obedient to God is more than what meets the eye

When we’re opening our Ears to all that God commands

Might not always see the out stretched Hand of God

Be Still even if can’t see sleeves rolling up, but can hear

Knowing God’s about to Work & what He starts will finish

Using the right amount of clay to harden, water to soften

Moses & Aaron both in early 80’s stood before Pharaoh

Only can imagine what that looked like no Chuck Norris

Or were they the first to use God’s total gym

Pharaoh wasn’t impressed because God hardened his heart

It wasn’t about the rods turning to serpents or water to blood

God’s People’s hearts hardened like Pharaoh needed work

While God’s armies were working over Pharaoh, God’s hands

Rolling up His sleeves to work Hearts like clay on his wedging table

The Master Potter knows what it will take to soften His People

Won’t always understand what God’s Hand is working on & why

Not unless we’re desiring obedience towards hope in Jesus Christ

Knowing everything God does points to Jesus rescuing His People

God’s hand is preparing hardened hearts, opening up ears to hear

Every Miracle is clay being put into our eyes , washed by the Blood

Jesus has been healing the Blind long before scripture fulfilled

Be still & know God , Be Still to hear God’s hands rolling up sleeves

God’s hands in Jesus, through Hands Jesus saved on the Cross

So that we’re All God’s Hand working in obedience to His Word
