Poem#92 The Lord Hides
Exodus 12, 2nd Kings 6
Everyone that knows the story about the parting of the red sea
Moses lifted His staff after Pharaoh finally let God’s people go
The sea parted making the way for His people to cross
We just don’t realize how close Pharaoh was to finding the people
The paths each of them had taken were so close yet Hidden in sight
Like fog the Lord will hide us before our enemies to save them
When the Lord says we’re under His refuge, His shield He Means it
The closer we get to the Lord through the way of speaking His Word
All we have to do is simply ask the Lord to reveal Himself
The Lord has shown who He is time & time again to His People
Through the dream of Jacob going up & down heaven to earth
Not just having His Angels, but the Lord watches over us
Learning to Trust without fear knowing in Faith the Lord is with Us
The People crossing the Red Sea didn’t fully understand like today
They needed proof to be satisfied the Lord was their God
The Lord Hide them like He hides His Armies until it’s time to defend
The depth, the height, the width, the length God’s love goes for Us
God is Love it’s who He is, what He does to keep what’s His Holy
