Poem#96 The Road

Poem#96 The Road

Genesis, Matthew, Luke, John

Narrow is the Road we’re to travel it’s not going to be smooth

Christian life’s going to be bumpy but doesn’t mean to be hard

Unless we choose to make life hard living with a sour face

Storms will happen along our journey no use trying to avoid them

Storms we’ll cry until flooding our heart until drowning in sorrow

Doesn’t have to be this way, peace be still God’s still here

Thieves are going to come & steal our Joy, but don’t have to give

Let go of our burdens & to follow Jesus for more abundant life lived

Jesus told us this knowing life’s hard, doesn’t mean we’re hard too

Narrow is the Road we’re traveling & it’s not the Road that’s broken

It’s the Lost & narrow minded hypocrites along with all the Prodigals

Everyone’s in need of the Healer in need of Saving by the same Grace

We’re going to read the Manual not to navigate the rules of God & man

Reading God’s Word shouldn’t be viewed as another way to earn works

Getting to know Our Heavenly Father is an act of Love as He first Loved

Narrow is the Road we’re free to pull over to let God show all He’s done

Like with Abraham God pulled Him over to show all He’s going to Father

God wants our life to be of Laughter like Abraham had at age 100

Life after birth of Isaac got hard, but Abraham didn’t have to live it

Keep Trusting God’s goodness even as Faith gets tested for Our Lamb

Narrow is the Way to Jesus , Life with Jesus is to Love

Thank you Walker, so appropriate as we are on the road here in the great Aussie outback. Your lines are so relevant as we are in a great storm here at the moment with the caravan shaking somewhat. But still, we are in our Saviour`s hands
