Receiving The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit

Hi.

Ive heard the primary reason for the baptism in the Holy Spirit is to empower the believer for service. One can hear from God without speaking in tongues, btw.
I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit myself, and it definitley increases your faith.
It makes for a whole different walk it seems. I guess it happened then when I peeped out that one foriegn word? I dont know. Cant discuss it here anyway.
