If you where told by a king to set sail for a particular land and he gave you a map on where to go, that map must be understood by you if you would even hope to get there.
God is the Supreme king who knows all things, nothing is hid from Him. Don't you think that He is able to provide us with the details of the map considering we are (IMO) are so close to the closing of all things?
Mysteries have no value in the time of need.

I couldn't agree more with this. God is our GPS, the route is pre-set; there is no misunderstanding whilst we have faith. We should always trust God, because no matter how strange, or impossible it sounds, He has already laid the path for us.
