Ringing gavels
gavels ringing in my ears
paralyzing, choking the flow
from the red river
through it's incessant verdicts,
turning oneself in on oneself.
can't escape it's oratory walls,
molding one into a shallow echo of a deeper Spring.
For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. It is the Lord who judges me.
