Sabbath 9/29/18 Alfred Station Seventh Day Baptist Pastor Ken sermon ”Giving of Praise” Ephesians 3:20-21

In the beginning of the chapter, it is important to see that we are called to pray for one another. The text today has us now giving of Praise to God. We are to realize that we must worship God. Prayer should lead to the worship of God and Jesus Christ. Worship should arise out of our prayer to God.

Now is when we should pray to the Lord. Now is now, not yesterday or last week. Don’t let your mind wander while you are praying. Prayer is to be Now. Prayer is to be focused on “Now” praying. Don’t fall asleep while praying and don’t let your mind wander. Stay focused on what you are praying to the Lord about. We pray unto Him that can do “all things”. We pray to the Father thru the Son in the Spirit. Jesus Christ is our mediator between God and man. We go thru Jesus to be able to talk to God the Father. We pray to God in Jesus’ name.

The Father can take care of us more abundantly than all we can ask or think. He will gives us more than we can ask. More than we can think. Jesus said a thief comes to steal and destroy but He comes that we can abundantly have. It takes our Faith. Once we have Faith, God can and will do abundantly more for us.

We have the Power in us. The power is Faith. The Resurrection power is in us. The Spirit of God lives in us. The power of Faith is also the Gospel power. The mystery of the Gospel is the Gospel power. When a person’s life is in chaos, they can get order in their life thru the mystery of the Gospel. We also have this power in us.

We give witness of God’s Power by coming together in church on the Sabbath. We are all together to give God glory. We should give God glory in everything we do. Even if it’s washing dishes or taking out the trash. Jesus gives us power to give God glory in all things. We are to give God glory forever and ever. This means until Eternity we are to give God glory.
