A kindergarten teacher spread out a map of the world in front of her class. "Tommy," she said, "please come to the map and find North America." Dutifully Tommy approached the map and put his hand on the correct continent.
"Very good!" the teacher beamed as Tommy returned to his seat. "Now class," she said, "who discovered North America?"
