2 Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
This is not about the accusations against "once saved always saved" to the extent that one can continue to live the sinful life as before, and still be saved. No. This is about the idea out there that one can lose their salvation without having to go to the extreme of apostacy. In that framework, it can be asked if that individual was EVER saved.
