When we choose something we look at all the variables and make our choice. Now those variables could change which would then alter our decision. Now nothing can change God's mind because He is omniscient and omnipotent. So when He makes his choice he chooses that which is perfect to begin with - the fall being for ordained according to His plan - being brought back to its former state by redemption.
Redemption means to be brought back.
Scripture says that he will be with us even in us.
God don't dwell in a rented vessel. Well, one might say, it was bought, but if he owns everything to begin with who did he buy it from?
Instead it was restored.
Satan being flawed trying to lay claim to everyone cannot ultimately lay hold on that which is God. Didn't Jesus testify of scripture saying 'ye are gods'.

Jesus was referring to Psalm 82:6, where God was speaking to the angels. It does not say we (humans) are gods. In verse 7 He says you shall die like men and fall like princes. Otherwise I agree with what you have said.
