Seed, Fruit, Harvest.
Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Salvation in three stages.
1. Regeneration- The seed. (see 1 Peter 1:23)
Born again by the incorruptible Word, (LOGOS) of God.
2. Holiness - The fruit. (Galatians 5:22-23)
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, etc.
3. Eternity with Jesus- The harvest. (Galatians 6:8b-9)
...he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.And let us not be weary in well doing : for in due season we shall reap , if we faint not.
