A late winter inland storm is moving across the plains states and upper Midwest today. This storm is producing moderate snowfall and as it moves easterly into the Ohio Valley, Mid Atlantic states and New England over the next few days, the snow amounts will increase substantially. Persons from eastern Kentucky and Tennessee through Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and the New England States should be monitoring this developing winter snow event because road and air travel may become difficult.
