Luke 9:62

Stay.out the past
Look to the future
There’s nothing good back

Here I stand in your presence,
unworthy as i am…
I see all my failings
You see a child of God

You came to earth
Loved me, just as I am
You did the impossible,
with me

It’s not how good I am
But how good God is

Earthly robes fade away
All Tattered and torn
but you gave me heavenly robes of righteousness
Now I am a child of yours
You did the impossible with me

Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The past is history,
The future a mystery,
But the present is a gift.

Hello brother Alan;

For many years I looked back because of the happy things but with that the unhappy regrets in my life. God helped me to stay out of the past for these reasons.

First, do I think because of my past that He is not working in me today and the future?

Second, I've asked God to include Him and my wife in my thoughts daily.

I have learned to be thankful for all He has done in the past but for always being there for me in every circumstance. These two have allowed me to press on and look forward to what He is doing today. This is exciting because God is not done with me yet according to His time and plan.
